On the 2nd of June, we hosted and welcomed the esteemed #WorldSteelAssociation Delegation for the 17th Environment Committee (ECO) Meeting. The event took place at our state-of-the-art Vijayanagar Works in Karnataka, India. The prestigious delegation from the World Steel Association comprised distinguished members who brought valuable expertise and leadership to the 17th Environment Committee (ECO) Meeting. The delegation was led by Mr. Jose Fonrouge, Chairman of the Worldsteel Environment Committee (ECO), accompanied by Mr. Andrew Purvis, Director of Sustainable Manufacturing, and Ms. Ã…sa Ekdahl, Head of Environment and Climate Change. Together, they exemplified the commitment of Worldsteel to driving sustainable practices and environmental responsibility within the global steel industry.
