As part of the Margondanahalli Lake’s restoration, JSW Foundation and Malligavad Foundation were able to rejuvenate the Lake as a natural recreational zone for the local residents. This will improve the local natural ecosystem and the lives of people living in the surrounding area. At JSW Steel Vijayanagar Works, we created this sustainable process for converting steel-making slag into sand for widespread use in civil construction. This new steel slag sand is a more environmentally friendly substitute for river sand. The process circuit treats crushed slag through a vertical shaft impactor and a classifier after metallic separation. #JSWSteel #JSWSteel
